You should have been given a crafting kit item. This PA is only useful after it is crafted. Each custom disc's effects are randomly generated according to the recipe used and the character's technique customization craft level. I like using this one or two times if my gear gauge is a little low before going back into my charging PAs. Some recipes have a third effect, which is beneficial but not randomized.
Wild Round And usually just getting a craft even if its a shit roll is better than nothing. You can use this PA to mob or kill bosses if you are too low on gear for Nova Strike.
Rush forward and then ram and slash the first enemy you reach or when you run the full distance. Just stop pressing a little before it ends to get the JA circle to pop up.
Slam the ground and then cause a stream of photons to come out of a target location. Charging this PA increases the number of swings and damage.
Use this on single target enemies when you have trouble getting in range. Take a wide swing with your partizan. You can block normally right after if you mess up the guard though. Sometimes I add a Volgraptor combo into the Sword/Wired Lance one or take out a Partizan slot for a Tech weapon depending on the boss. This PA uses the gear gauge. It’s a nice little bonus to get whenever you can. Assault Buster Lunge at an enemy.
The modification is permanent, unless replaced by using another custom disc on the same technique.

Over End PA fragments (T-ATK) are obtained by desynthesizing discs for level 11 or higher techniques. Create a flurry of swings in an area around you. Use Craft Energy 50 times. Your step attack (attacking after dodging) also gets a wider swing. You only have 3 seconds but a good combo can pull off a lot of damage.
This is a nice PA to use to swing at groups of enemies in front of you.
Use this on bosses that won’t stand still enough for Holding Current. Each crafting attempt uses up one crafting slot in the MyRoom terminal, the slot won't be available again until the cooldown timer has expired. Projectiles travel a short distance, but are reasonably wide and pierce, allowing each to hit multiple enemies. Assault Buster
There's two types of crafting, each with it's own achievements and craft levels: Arms Extend and Technique Extend. The spacing from one spin is the exact spacing you need for your tip to hit the enemy during Holding Current (and you get to proc Tech Arts).
