since then the only trouble i have had has been the fuel preheat relays, no one knew where they were located even the local auto electrician, so services after initial repair have been about $3000 including the tail shaft replacement,fuel preheat element replacement, 2 fuel preheat relays, rear brake pads, ... idler arm, front shock rubbers, sway bar links, to be fair i have done some very rugged off road usage, it now has about 170k on it fingers crossed nothing major goes wrong like it has for some of the others on here, overall for a turbo deisel off road it is cheap, it has also been great for towing plenty of power, Almost a Land Rover but at a fraction of the price. Transmission choices were a 5 speed manual or 4 speed automatic. It was a reluctant sale for me, even though I don't need a 4WD any more and the new car is so much cheaper to run. Regretting spending $4990 on this car, 2002 petrol model unfortunately was a headache.

Good points are it’s a big strong car for a reasonable price, bad points are the same with any common rail diesel motor - if they break they cost a fortune to repair.
