I think alot of peop0le, as well as myself hate the idea that Rex is the best because its been seen as such for so long, and when Giganotosaurus was introduced into the American dino world, people were like finally something that could beat rex.
I am saying this as someone who plays Giga more than any other dino. Giga can more or less pick their fight while rex cannot. Real life really has nothing to do with this game.

Now I've already kinda posted this rant elsewhere but I need more ppl to see. A single bite is generally a death sentence and the difference in being bitten by either Giga or Rex balls down to how you die-not which is more or less likely to kill you. literally no reason to play giga; unless you enjoy killing allos more reliably (longer ambush), and never really having to rest to regen stamina. I guess that's a good sign as it shows they're balanced enough to argue over. Rex might be more powerful, but you're also way more vulnerable- get mauled slowly by ten dilos, get ass ridden by another rex or giga, your stam is trash, your walk is trash, everything is trash about them besides for their ambush and damage. Last patch giga was useless while rex was horribly overpowered. The bounty hunter Jango Fett is hired. 1 year ago. The stamina buff on giga means it's a pursuit predator now, which should make it more survivable. Compared to most other creature on The Isle, Giga is strong enough. I think it's worth trying. I personally think that giga sounds and looks better and over all the time i played the isle i liked the rex less and less.

Just wish the earlier stages of giga were a bit more mobile, like the young rexes.
