The only weapon that I feel competes with it is the spear, which i think has the best ensouled moveset and can counter kusi high stance without backing you into a corner. 1.-There is no best kusarigama, the attack difference between them is very small, just go for one that benefits your build, if you are going for ninjutsu items just use the Iga kusarigama so you get the 2 piece bonus and recover items, kusas imo do not have stared skills outside renegade dragon. Their is no "Best Weapon." Then the rest just put the usual perks on it. A powerful Kusarigama build with high end applications.

Should i be okay with 99 Dex and high Body and Skill at maybe 15-18 or so for the gear requirement? Yeah i assumed that too, but that’s always in my mind when doing a build ”what is the best variant” but gonna keep that in my mind now on. Every Weapon in the game has Familiarity.
It also scales with Skill and Strength.

There are some specific builds that want locked stats that are not forgeable like the “damage to enemies with full life” one from the bloody hatchet for thrown weapon builds. How much does it scale with Skill, i really dont want to invest too much points in it?
Why do some of the kusarigamas day that they have magic scaling instead of dexterity scaling? Stamina max 10 if i remember correctly STR 7, Skill 99, DEX 10, Magic 27 and Spirit 28.
My lvl is 180 or so. 3.-Almost all weapons come with inheritble perks, if it doesn't have one you can add it via inheriting one. I know that much i need to reforge thrown weapon damage for gear etc.

Generally you’d want 5 unlocked slots, 1 slot for inheritance and 1 slot for set bonus. you are going to have way more than enough to max out 3 stats to 99, heart won't see much use if you are basing your damage off throwing items, you shouldn't even be close to have to block with your weapon.
