i think the 1000 would of been a little too long. The 1000S is the same width as the 900S. The 900 has more than enough power to handle any trails, desert or mountains we ride. Power wise the commander 1000 is better than the Polaris 900. I have seen were people are saying the 2015 900s has plenty of power for the trails and riding in the woods. I'm not sure it's 4-5 thousand better than my XP4900 though? If you step up to the Xp1000 then its 110hp. so if you want the more power and suspension i'd go for the 1000. Dependability Both have their issues. The way I look at it, the 800 is capable, the 900 is very capable and the 1000 is more than capable. rzr 900 vs 1000

To deep on my 900 to make that choice now. JB, I also had a 800 and bought it at a real good price. I'd buy the XP41K, far superior machine in every way, I rode Frank's all day this past Sunday...Wow !! RZR has the edge I was thinking that I can prob sell it and make a good profit and buy a 900 or 1000. I have a 2016 900s 2 seater that I want out of for a 4 seat 1000 if your interested.
