Ahh, a thread from back when people cared for this game and had hope for it post release. Also fan pages should be allowed to have mods, that way it can be free to use for anyone. But I think Steam workshop or workshop-like feature would be better because not only you could share and download mods with each other but also share various creations and saved worlds. Virtually every character in the game has been altered in some way. Steam Workshop requires people to pay for mods and the largest cut goes to Valve, meaning it would be a very bad decision ;).
