This would have been no issue if we were eating at a less expensive and casual restaurant but The Carvery has $40 dollar entrees - it's not casual dining. Our waiter was very soft spoken and we had a hard time understanding what she was asking. My husband and I decided to eat out on a Monday for no special reason other than to get out of the house. 15 mins for a drink, 20 more minutes to take our order and after over 40 mins we finally got our food. If you fancy a cheap and cheerful carvery, slap bang in the middle of Leeds city centre, there’s only one place to go – The Picture House. Our waitress was attentive and helpful in explaining the menu and making recommendations. Food was average relative to price point. They have beetroot, sweet potato and butternut squash tart.

I would not go again unless seating is indoors, so not until after covid. The Cocktail menu was of interest with drinks containing ingredients such as balsamic reduction, muddled strawberries/peaches, Madagascar vanilla, basil and fresh nutmeg (not all in one drink)...
